Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

We just moved up here from Boynton about 1 1/2 months ago and finally decided to order Chinese. After looking over reviews, we went with Hunan Garden because it was the closest with two 5 star ratings. I didn't have a menu because there isn't one anywhere online (uploaded the menu :), but didn't need one for what the things we wanted. I asked if they had combination dinners, and a friendly man answered yes, so I ordered 1 General Tso's chicken and 1 Sesame chicken- they both came with pork fried rice, choice of soup and an eggroll and I also ordered Crab Rangoon. Went and picked it up and when I got home we took everything out and to our surprise there was an extra bag with 2 eggrolls and written on it was 'free'- that has NEVER happened before. The portions were big- at least for the chicken- there was a ton of it. The food was well flavored and cooked perfectly. Another thing we noticed is for anyone who orders General chicken a lot- there's always a pepper next to it on the menu (meaning it's spicy) but I've never had spicy General chicken, well there's a first time for everything! This order actually had whole, dried, red peppers in it. Now it wasn't mouth on fire hot, but it had some kick as you continued to eat it- will definitely order that again. Now, the reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of 3 things. And it could just be what I'm used to, but, I have had better rice- don't get me wrong, it was very good, but was lacking in pork and veggies. 2- the crab rangoons were good as well, but just a little sweeter than what I've had in the past. And 3- the eggrolls were different than anything I've had as well; the filling tasted and looked different. All in all it was great food and will order from there again after we do our ritual of trying every Chinese restaurant around and deciding on a favorite. Try it, you won't be disappointed :)

I live in Southern California in the desert but I've been many places. There is nothing quite as tasty as Hunan Garden anywhere near where I live. This place is fabulous! I had the chicken and shrimp combo - yummy. I also had the potstickers: omg! The potstickers (called dumplings, I believe) were fat and delicious. This is awesome Chinese! Dang! You need to go. Yum.

I don't know what all of these other reviews are saying about the resturant. Their taste buds must be dead. The Hunan Garden Chinese Resturant Food is The Best In Town. Hands Down Super Great Food. Thaddeus and Louise Proshansky.

The food is great and the staff is very friendly. Good Hot and Sour soup, beef Teriyaki and potstickers. Great for takeout. We place our order, run into the Publix next door to do shopping then pick up our dinner. It's great.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of our food. I ordered garlic beef which always has the "spicy" notation on every menu I've ever ordered it from- yet it is never ever spicy. Hunan Garden prepared my beef with the perfect level of heat...just enough to make your nose start to run whilst still being able to enjoy your food. They were also very friendly and offered to carry the box containing our large family order to the car. I will definitely be back on our next visit to PSL.

Worst chinese I've ever had... granted I'm used to chinese food from up north which is way different and Better but this was lousy.. chicken fried rice with dark meat?! I've never seen such a thing. There is a place down the road I goto instead. They were very quick here though. I don't even like the way it smells from the outside lol

Great food, and very fresh. Prices low. Wish the had table service and/or delivery. Will probably do take out at least a couple of times a week. Highly recommend.

Hunan Garden is the only Chinese restaurant that I will eat at in town. The staff is always friendly and the price is good for the amount of food you get. We always get general tso's chicken which is always piping hot and fresh. If I could, I would eat the crab rangoon's everyday, they are amazing.

The food here is good compared to most Chinese food that I've tried since living in Florida. The prices aren't bad either. The only thing that I have an qualm about is having to display my license once I pick up my order after paying for my food via telephone. We are very big on protecting our private information so when the (I assume) owner asked for my ID and started taking down my information I asked what was this for?! He replied that he had been doing this for about 20 years. Well I've only been in PSL for about 3 months and this were our third time ordering from this establishment and never had this happen before.

The food was pretty good for the typical takeout. We ordered the sweet and sour chicken with fried rice, the chicken wasn't hard and chewy like most Chinese take-out that I have experienced. They are pretty pricy however, and that is why I only gave three stars. We ordered 4 meals and the total came to $39, for that we could have went out!
